My newest short story publication is one that is close to my heart. When I wrote “The Wedding Feast,” I knew I had something special, and I am so happy that the editors at Baubles from Bones agreed. Check out the whole issue. There are some amazing stories and poetry.
I would love for anyone who gets a chance to read my story to pop in the comments and let me know what you think.
I am knee-deep into a werewolf story for an anthology call right now. “The Hand of the Wolf” is a 1978 based romp that, so far, references Tomb of Dracula and has a real “What if Spielberg made a Werewolf movie?” vibe to it. Fingers crossed that it gets into the anthology. If not, I am sure you will see it at some point. It is too much fun not to share.
Lastly, I snagged a renewed subscription to Marvel Unlimited for my birthday last month, and I have been devouring Steve Orlando’s Scarlet Witch (art below by Jacopo Camagni.)
It’s spooky, adventure, and humorous goodness. Wanda owns a magic shop on the rejuvenated Main Street of a small town USA. The shop contains The Last Door, which opens for those who need help and have no where else to turn. We need this series on TV (with or without the superheroes attached).
That’s it for me! I hope you all are doing amazing and you are as ready as I am for spooky season. See you soon!
